- Borrani makes the RW 3531 Borrani Wheels 4.5"x15", an aluminium-rimmed Borrani wheel with a transform kit to fit a bolt-on wheel hub, compatible with 155R15 tyres.
- Borrani makes the RW 3839 Borrani Wheel 4.0"x15", an aluminium-rimmed Borrani wheel, compatible with 155R15 tyres.
Triumph TR3 Tires
- Originally the TR3 was outfitted with 5.50x15 crossply tires. If you want a crossply we can offer the 5.50 x 15 Excelsior, however it is not designed for sports cars.
- We recommend instead fitting a radial tire designed for sports cars; we suggest the 155HR15 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ CA67.
- Often people like to fit larger tires. In this case we suggest the 165HR15 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ CA67.
- A good alternative to the PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ CA67 is the Michelin XAS, which is available in both sizes. A 155 HR 15 Michelin XAS FF or a 165-15 Michelin XAS are both excellent choices for a TR3.
- A cheaper option would be the 165 SR 15 Michelin XZX. This tire is great value for the price you pay, but it wasn't designed for cars like the TR3. An XAS or CA67 will offer the best driving experience.
- Wire wheels require innertubes in order to properly function. Even if your tires are capable of running tubeless, wire wheels will need innertubes.
- The tube we recommend for these tires is the Michelin 15E innertube.
- We suggest a starting pressure of 30 PSI front and 34 PSI rear for a TR3 on classic radial tires.
