Aston Martin Wheels
Fitting a set of Borrani wheels on a Classic Aston Martin is one of the best period up grades. In fact Borrani wheels were OE on the DB4 GT Zagato.
Aston Martin Tires
- Pirelli now make the perfect pre war Aston Martin tires; 5.50-18 PIRELLI STELLA BIANCA.
- Initially Post War Aston Martin fitted 6.00x16 tires, for which the best crossply tyre is the 6.00-16 PIRELLI STELLA BIANCA.
- At the end of the 1950s Aston Martin Fitted 600V16 Avon TurboSpeed. This no longer qualifies for the V Speed rating.
- The Avon tire in this size now only qualifies for a H speed rating; 600 H 16 Avon Turbospeed, the Pirelli is still a V.
- Aston Martin fitted 185VR16 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ CA67 which is still the best pre 1963 radial Aston Martin road tires.
- Fitting 15” wheels the last DB4, DB5 and DB6 mk1 fitted 185VR15 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ CA67 (or cross ply 670V15 Avon, no longer manufactured with a V).
- DB6 MK2 and DBS fitted 205VR15 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ CN72. (There was no radial Avon, and the crossply 815V15 Avon is no longer manufactured.)
- Aston Martin DBS V8 fitted The Pirelli Cinturato CN12, in the size 225/70R15 Tires. The V8 Vantage fitted 255/60VR15 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ CN12 late 1970s and early 1980s.
- We hope to get the 225/70VR15 Cinturato CN12 made in the near future; for now we recommend the 225/70 WR 15 Michelin XWX.
- In the late 1980s the Aston Martin V8 vantage moved to 16” wheels, we recommend 255/50 YR 16 Pirelli P-Zero Asimmetrico, or 255/50 YR 16 Michelin Pilot Sport.
- We can also supply Dunlop Racing tires for Aston Martin classic models.
