- Series 1 Lotus Elite 4.0J - 15 RW3405.
- Series 2 Elite 4.5K – 15 RW3590.
- Race cars tend to fit 5.00-15 RW3693 on the rear with 5.00L15 Dunlop Racing & 4.50L15 Dunlop Racing front.
- Series 1 Elites fitted 4.80-15 Crossply, and later they fitted 155HR15 Pirelli Cinturato. Which is currently the best road tire.
- For Racing cars rear with 5.00L15 Dunlop Racing & 4.50L15 Dunlop Racing front.
- We would recommend using Michelin 15E13 inner tubes

Borrani made the concaved centre spinner, and what they call the “Vintage Spinner” together for a while. So from 1960-62 so the choice was yours, which to fit.

The pictures below show a standard MK 2 1962 Elite fitted with the 4.5X15 Borrani RW3554 (which is actually a MGA wheel).
A Lotus Elite of course will handle at it’s very best fitted with the original 155HR15 Pirelli Cinturato CA67. The very first Lotus Elites fitted 4.80-15 crossply tires, but the grip and handling was dramatically improved when the series 2 moved on to Pirelli’s amazing Cinturato tires that were the radial tire of choice for sports cars in the period.
