Unfortunately for owners of the UR Audi Quattro the tyre size 215/50 VR 15 is very uncommon so for some time owners have had to compromise and fit tyres that weren’t quite right. However thanks to Pirelli at the beginning of 2018 they produced a fresh batch of the original 215/50 VR 15 P700-Z tyres that the Audi Quattro UR left the factory with.
A 215/50 VR 15 tyre is approximately 215mm wide at the widest bit of the tyre. The side wall height is 50% of 215mm. The VR stands for V speed rating of 150mph R meaning radial construction, to be fitted to a 15” rim.
As well as the 215/50 VR 15 P700-Z Pirelli also occasionally make the 235/45 VR 15 P700-Z that was fitted to the short wheel base Audi UR Quattro Short Sport.
